A catch-all email mailbox is one that gathers all the messages sent to non-existent addresses. For example, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody mistypes it and sends an email to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Only one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature enabled and thus you will never miss messages because the other party has an out-of-date email address or has made a typo. The drawback of creating a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving lots of spam messages, but this issue can be fixed by using an anti-spam protection solution. It’s also vital to keep in mind that a mailbox with an active catch-all feature cannot redirect inbound email messages to a 3rd-party email address.

All the email addresses that you have created using the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be shown in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will find a small-size button conveniently located right next to each one of them. With just one mouse click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice provided that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain name with this option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable this option using the menu that will pop up. In case any of the requirements for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not matched, our system will warn you, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
